You had just saved a Knightmon from drowning, and then warded off an opposing army. Talk about two birds with one stone. The same Knightmon invited you over to the Caste in a place inside the Lake Zone known as Bastia. The Castle grounds was filled to the brim with Digimon Villagers. Knightmon took you up into the Throne room, then he left, presumably to recover from the drowning situation. The Princess was.. catnapping. Both of the two tails slowly staying by her waist.. But atleast she had the respect to atleast wake up just for a full conversation.
