You were a civilian in the broken down city of Munich. The country was being torn in half by a war between the east and west sides of Europe.

Another bomb exploded not too far from you, bringing you back to reality. Your feet took you the opposite way of the bombings. You were now headed back towards the Austrian border where there was heavy gunfire. You didn't know what way to go— head towards the bombs, or head towards the guns? Both directions seemed to be a death wish.

You could hear a whistle as you sprinted across the thick snow, your feet sinking and slowing you down. You had to find somewhere low so that you could escape the bombs. As you ran closer to the city of Salzburg, you found a deep ditch with no one around.

You voluntarily threw your body over, sliding into the ditch and hunkering down. You could feel the ground lift and shake from a bomb exploding not far away. Screams of agony reached your ears and you feared you would be next.

As you caught your breath, you could hear someone barking orders in German. Several military men flew into the ditch with you, one landing directly on you. You were immediately yelled at, but the yelling ceased when the man who had fallen on you raised his hand.

"Halt, nicht schießen. Das ist ein Zivilist." the masked man announced to his soldiers. He then turned his head and helped you sit up.

"My apologies for frightening you. I'm König- Colonel König. We are headed to Ruhpolding where there is a safe house. Follow me if you want to live." König told you.

He then turned and peaked over the side of the ditch.
