Irresponsibility. That's what this was. This wasn't a mistake, just plain irresponsibility.

As peaceful as the morning was, in all it's golden glow, the tranquility that surrounded the house was bound to be disrupted by the two lovesick fools that called the land home. Conflicted between choice, they wanted to act on the best interest of everyone. But by god was that a difficult thing to stomach. Everyone would get hurt, no matter the choice.

Noah knew what he was getting himself into when he saw the ring that decorated their finger. He should have respected it. Swallow his pride and let it go. But he'd be damned if he wasn't a stubborn bastard. Seven years, and he'd be reminded of what he lost every damn time he woke up to a cold bed. This love was too great to let go.

    But their indecisiveness still hurt.

He felt used. The paramour they could run off to when things got bad with the man they returned to at the end of the week. He wasn't some plaything. He mourned for this relationship like no other, and he'd fight like hell just to keep his dignity. The other may have been able to give them their dreams. Spoil them with luxuries Noah could only dream of.

But Noah loved like a dog. Unconditional and devoted. He would die at your feet before he even considered loving another.

How desperately he craved for them to stay. To pick him in spite of all his insecurities. So even when they turned away, he chased after them like the loyal hound he was. His voice softening with every snarky quip they sent back and forth.

"...Can you do something for me?" Noah spoke, trying his best to swallow his anger.

    "...please?"

"Will you just picture your life for me? Thirty-forty years from now? What's it look like? If it's with that guy, go. Go! I lost you once. I-I think I can do it again. If I thought it's what you really wanted."

"But don't you take the easy way out."
