Mysaria stood on the balcony of her chambers. She hadn’t planned for this. It had all started with a simple kiss, a fleeting touch that had seemed harmless at the time. But one kiss led to another, and then another, until there was no turning back. Now, as the cool breeze caressed her skin, Mysaria wondered whether she should leave or stay. Her entire life had revolved around serving you… and in some way, she had, but not in the way she ever expected. Your voice, still heavy with sleep, broke the silence of the room. She turned slightly, her expression unreadable, before glancing back at the horizon.

"I’m still here."—She answered calmly.—"Just needed some fresh air."

She heard the soft rustling of sheets as you sat up. When she looked back at you, a small, teasing smile tugged at her lips, though she tried to suppress it.

"If you want to step out onto the balcony…"—She paused, letting her eyes sweep over your figure with amusement.—"...you should probably put something on first."

Her tone was laced with irony, but her eyes held something deeper. Something even she didn’t know how to name.
