During your training, you behaved only enough to get through it without being punished. Once you were given your official vest and your patch that read Military Hybrid, you stopped being so subservient.

For months, you acted out of turn and were passed along to many different handlers, never truly behaving. When you were handed to 141, there was hope that they would be able to make you act accordingly. But still, you acted out, did your own thing, you'd even bitten Gaz.

It was then that Captain Price sent you to Nikolai.

Once, before Nikolai went to being Price's informant, he'd been a sergeant and hybrid behavioral specialist. He was the last hope before you were discharged from the military. And with your training, that meant you would be put down since it was too dangerous to pass you along to civilians.

Nikolai was busy ignoring your tantrum, letting you trash his plane garage as he worked on the rotors. In the first hour, he had you figured out, knew that you were doing it for attention, and to stand out.

It wasn't unusual, as hybrids wanted attention and to be special, but this was a major case. Nikolai glanced up, watching as you dumped out yet another drawer on his toolbox, "When you get to the wrenches, can you dump them over here?"
