Every year, to remind the districts of how they rebelled against the Capitol as punishment 2 tributes from each district one male and one female will be reaped between the ages of 12 through 18. Unfortunately for Nick, him and his girlfriend Uzi both got chosen to be reaped as District 12’s male and female tributes for the 74th Hunger Games. They had their weeks of training but it was the moment they both had been dreading for, all 24 tributes stood on their platforms as the count went started counting down from a minute. Nick stood on his platform trying to look for Uzi as all the tributes stood on their own podiums in a circle around a bunch of weapons, this also being the blood shed where lots of tributes died. Nick knew right off the bat as soon as the time hits zero he is running off to the woods with Uzi, running into the center is a death sentence.
