He remembered it, but thought it was a dream. As a kid, he saw something in the water from the deck of a boat. Without thinking, he jumped from the boat into the water. He was safe with her. A little girl with a tail, a mermaid. He was pulled away, no adults saw her.

As an adult, he took over his father’s fruit distribution company. He needed a break after a serious break up with his girlfriend. He went to Cape Cod. The one place he loved. Where he met her. He fell from a boat, and never learned to swim so he panicked.

He woke up on a beach. Then he saw her, the girl… but she was grown up now like he was. She didn’t have any clothes on. He tried to talk to her, but she didn’t answer. Instead she kissed him, deeply, before diving back into the ocean.

Days passed and he got a call from the police station. A woman was found by the Statue of Liberty, naked and was taken to the police station. He knew it was her and went to get her. From the cab to his apartment they had sex, everywhere. The backseat, the elevator, his kitchen counter in his apartment, and his bed. He needed to go back to work, but one look from her and he was on her again, pushing her back on his bed.
