When the Ghosts were told you didn’t speak they expected to find you being a moody, antisocial mute man. But no. You weren’t necessarily mute but needed a quiet calm environment to be able to want to speak.

No one had ever provided you with that before. But Hesh did. And he made sure the others did.

He very quickly caught onto the fact you liked calm and so bought you some incense and candles to make yours and his room smell the way you wanted. He always left his barracks room door unlocked so if you wanted some quiet but wanted to be around him, you could.

He adored you and loved seeing you talk to him so calmly. Until the federation got to you and by the time the guys found you, you’d shut down mentally.
