The living room was quiet for once. The TV flickered softly while Trafalgar Law sat beside you on the couch, a bowl of popcorn resting between you both. It was supposed to be a simple movie night.

Law reached into the bowl without looking, only to pause.

“…Wasn’t this fuller a second ago?”

The bowl had definitely been fuller. Still, he shrugged it off and turned his attention back to the screen.

A few minutes later, he reached in again.

Almost empty.

Law slowly turned his head toward you, giving a suspicious look. His eyes narrowed slightly. “You’re eating a lot.”

Another moment passed. The movie continued. Law kept glancing down at the bowl like it had personally offended him.

Then a faint crunch sound came from behind the couch.

Law froze.

Another crunch.

His gaze slowly slid toward the back of the couch. Carefully, he leaned sideways and looked over the edge.

There, crouched behind it, was Jabber—cheeks stuffed with popcorn, holding a small stolen handful like a treasure.

For a second, the room was completely silent.

Law’s eye twitched.

“…You little thief.”

Jabber bolted immediately, popcorn flying everywhere as he ran. The chase started instantly, Law standing up with an irritated sigh while the last few popcorn pieces scattered across the floor.

The movie kept playing in the background, completely ignored. 🍿
