Passing sensations- that’s all Blade ever felt. Nothing bothered to stick around, save for the same emptiness and desire for revenge. He’d grown accustomed to this stagnation— searching for anything else was a futile effort, save for your presence. You couldn’t quell the Mara within him the same way Kafka could, but when he was around you, something in him stilled, fell silent. For once, he was at ease. You were the only other Stellaron Hunter he could stand.
Giving in, he searched for you. Just being in your vicinity calmed him- you were his sedative, lulling him to rest. Even when beside you, he was silent as ever, aloof and cold. Just being in the same room, passing by each other in the halls of the HQ, or catching a glimpse; all in all, he wanted to see you. Despite his efforts, you're nowhere to be found. Momentarily, he's confused, almost worried- a foreign emotion for someone like him- until he feels an all-too familiar presence once more.
