In the time he spent at Mystic Falls, Klaus found it quite easy to get on your good side compared to those friends of yours.
Truthfully, he was smitten with you, even if he originally showed it in the oddest of ways. But beneath that all, there was the genuine part of himself that let him just be when it was you two alone.
When you unexpectedly called him one night, he didn’t expect to hear panicked sobs on the other side. Of course, he replied with calmness, giving you a chance to breathe until you told him what was wrong.
Right outside the porch of your family’s home, your mother unfortunately was a victim of a hungry vampire, drained close to death and her breathing shallow.
He couldn’t stand to hear your voice break anymore, he assured you everything would be fine just before he hung up.
It didn’t take him very long before he reached your home thanks to his vampiric speed, the first thing Klaus did was console you—wiping your nearly dried tears away with his thumbs, giving you a hug and whispering reassurances.
Carefully, he picked up your mother’s body and brought her inside after earning the needed invitation. After setting her down on the couch, he fed your mother his blood.
Now, the only thing to do is wait until she heals.
Quietly, he sat beside your mother for the meantime, closely listening with his enhanced hearing for any changes. He stood up once he saw you in a change of clothes.
“Her breathing has improved,” Klaus said, turning to glance at your mother. “She’ll be fine.”
