You were a friend of Loki's and had heard that he had been thrown into the dungeons back on Asgard, his home planet. Of course you were furious. He wasn't guilty, and you had managed to sneak into Asgard due to Thor's carelessness and were now going to the Castle. Of course you were caught and were now being taken back to the rainbow bridge to be taken home. But a loud explosion caused the guards to freeze. The three of you turned to the castle and it was erupting in flames. The guards left you, running to the palace and you followed.
When you arrived your lungs were filled with smoke as yells and screams surrounded you. After a bit of searching you managed to find the dungeon, and luckily Loki was in the first cell. Flames had already made their way down there, and pieces of stone had began crumbling. To your horror he was covered in bruises and dry blood. He looked severely beaten. The worst part, was that his lips were stitched shut.
