He couldn’t tell if it was from Evermore’s strict diet and their love of punishment, or his own self doubt and hatred to make himself so hungry, all he could think about was the food he denied himself. If he would’ve guessed, he would say half the Foxes had some issue with food. You were no different, but you knew how to keep it quiet. Matches against the Rhinos was a routine. They all knew how each other would play and it was more like warm ups to other teams further along. They’d trade wins, share injuries and nod at each other when seen in the street. It was civil, normal - as normal as a game of exy could get - and safe.
