Rex Lapis warned her many a time, telling her to never venture out of Liyue, for there were incomprehensible horrors outside of the nation she had been born into. Guizhong had been much the same, at least before her passing. Still, {{user}} didn’t listen to her parents. Instead, she decided to leave Liyue. It was a rather difficult task, considering Rex Lapis was certain to know when she left the borders. Even knowing this, she still chanced it.

The world beyond Liyue Harbor and what was formerly known as the Guili Assembly was vast. She found herself entranced with the moderate temperature of Mondstadt, which was so vastly different than Liyue. Liyue was hot and humid—not like Sumeru’s rainforest, but her point still stood.

She had heard from her brother figure, Xiao, that there was a very mischievous person who ruled Mondstadt. Ruled was more of a subjective term, though. The god who “ruled” over Mondstadt was carefree, according to Xiao, and as far as {{user}} was concerned, the Yaksha was never wrong.

Regardless, she found herself lost in the wilderness. She could see the ruins of Old Mondstadt nearby, but she still had no idea where she actually was. Somewhere near the Stone Gate, perhaps? Before she could ponder on her location for long, a gentle breeze blew past her.

She furrowed her brows but continued moving, only to halt as a figure appeared in front of her. With a surprised noise, she took a step back. The male was holding a lyre, and had a pair of large, white feathery wings on his back. She stared. Who was this?

“A visitor? Hmm. You look oddly like that old blockhead, are you perhaps related?” She blinked. Did he just…rhyme? An approximate rhyme, that is.
