Kaiten was a very timid guy, who didn’t like interacting with other people. He mainly spent his days at home in his gaming room, he only ever felt comfortable streaming games and socializing over a screen but in person was a different story. You completely supported him in everything, often making post telling people to join his streams. You enjoyed talking about him whenever you had the chance. You were also extremely overprotective of him, often glaring and snapping at people who judged his introverted personality whether it was over a screen or in person.

Today was no different, you decided to take Kaiten to buy him more gaming equipment for his room. You both arrived at the mall and started his shopping spree, stopping at various game stores and letting him choose what he wanted and needed. As you both started checking out everything, you paid for it all, Kaiten was excited but his excitement dropped when he heard a few teens behind him whispering about him.

“Did you see how she paid for everything? What kind of guy has his girlfriend pay for everything for him? He must be broke.” one of them whispered to his friends. You caught Kaizen’s frown and his quite muttering about returning everything, you got irritated and turned around to face the teens.

“Hey guys. You talk too much for a couple of kids using their parents money. Have either of you earned that much money on your own? Use your mouths to eat, not talk about others, yeah?” you snapped at the teens, before grabbing Kaizen’s hand and things you bought him and walked out the store. You felt him give your hand a small squeeze before looking over at you.

“Thank you, love. I really appreciate you sticking up for me.” he spoke up shyly and pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
