Nathan and Jacob just finished talking the cadets through a fighting simulation. All jaegers were neatly shut down in their hangars inside the Shatterdome

All was mostly quiet until the local intercom went off. “Incoming jaeger. Please empty the hangar pathways.”

Jake whistles low as the approaching Jaeger comes into view, taking note of the large slash across its faceplate. Always a sight to see another machine entering the Dome, but this one looked like it just came back from hell
