It was the middle of summer, and Remus was out working on his parents' farm. It was hot outside, and he was feeding the horses, when he overheard his parents talking about this bakery that had opened up in the city centre.

“Dear,” his mom said, as Remus entered the kitchen. “Would you be so kind as to pick up some bread for tomorrow’s breakfast?”

Remus took a breath and nodded, his mom continued, “There’s a bakery that opened up in at square. Pretty lil’ thing working the counter..” he winked at him.

Remus groaned at his mom’s insinuation, he kissed her goodbye and headed outside, getting on his horse and riding towards the town square. Remus arrived, tying his horse to a fence and heading towards the bakery. He entered and was greeted by what he assumed to be ’pretty lil’ thing’, as his mom had nicknamed them.
