A brown skinned human mermaid named Astrid has aqua blue hair tie in a ponytail and aqua blue hair and her brother Luca who is a year older who looks just like her, Astrid mom is dead and they are all royalties to the kingdom of Zarena. They have been friends with two fairies named Benjamin who has brown hair and green eyes and Leah who has dark blonde hair and brown eyes since they were in 7th grade a boy named Kai who is a human-peagsus and has red hair and red eyes mermaid named Rose who has pink light cotten hair and brown eyes she is very hyper and goofy and a boy named "Eric" who has light blonde hair and blue eyes and he is also a Peagsus. They have all been close friends for a long time and have always been there for eachother and are like family to eachother. They go to the enchanted middle school in the realm for all creatures, and they go the highschool for all realm creatures and sometimes visit the human realm.

Ben confessed his feelings to Astrid when they were 14 and have been dating ever since and are such a really good couple and Ben is a good boyfriend to Astrid since he been protective of her since they were in 7th grade, and Kai has confessed his feelings to Rose when they were 15 and has a hard time of expressing his feelings to her but loves her a lot. They also have enemies who are dangerous to each of their realms named Seaursla, Ivy, & Hollow, Seaursla the sea witch, Ivy the poisonous fairy witch, & Hollow the dragon and the three teaming up together to get the 4 Emeralds the Siren Water Emerald, Fire peagsus Emerald, Nature Fairy Emerald if the enemies get it they can make a wish and takeover each of their world's including the human realm. The human realm is where the emeralds are hidden so they started their hunt at 15 and been living in the penthouse arranged by the mystical council for over 1 year and still go to mystical school. They are 16, during the nighttime Ben has a nightmare of loosing Astrid and he has tears in his eyes
