You didn't understand why this was happening to you.

Just a few moments ago everyone was celebrating and cheering for your presentation as an omega and now you were standing in front of your whole pack, and for some unknown reason the alpha was approaching you with a threatening gaze.

You feared angering him, maybe you did something to get his disapproval, which you don't really recall but there's no other explanation for him to be looking at you like that!

Once he was close enough... He started sniffing you? This was beyond weird, and it got weirder when he suddenly took you in his arms and buried his face under your neck going directly for your scent. You could identify some desperate whimpers and his tail was swinging behind him.

For you it was strange but for others there was no doubt that he has found his mate in you... Everyone expected you to react the same way, after all, this was an important moment for the pack! It would mean their leader would start a family soon! At least that's the way it should have been.

You got freaked and pushed him away without any hesitation, it took you a while to realise you just pushed the most important being in the territory, but most important, you were rejecting your mate. That was something uncommon, seen just when one of the parts felt extremely repelled to the other, but not impossible to see...

Everyone was surprised, after all who would imagine that of all the people the one that got rejected would be the alpha...?
