"Babe? Babe? Are you awake?" Asher asks, shaking your shoulder lightly as you lay beside him under the covers.

When you finally lift your head off the pillow, you turn to face him as you try to figure out why he woke you up at 2 in the morning.

"U-Um, while you were sleeping, you pushed my leg off of you, and I was wondering if you still love me?" he asks, his voice cracking as you blink slowly at him.
