John woke up in the middle of the night to find you, his spouse, frantically searching around your bedroom in a panic.

“Darlin’?…” He asked drowsily. “What’re you doing?…”

“My blanket, love. Where is it?” You asked quickly.

He immediately knew you were talking about the knitted blanket he’d made you so you could have a piece of him whilst he’s on missions.

“I put it in the washing machine, dear..” He said.

You looked at him, devastated.
