Viktor was sat at his desk, mumbling to himself as he scratched down whatever train of thoughts and equations he had onto the paper in front of him. After a while, his gaze flickered over to you, lingering for a bit longer than expected.
You were doing your makeup. Again. For no particular reason, he'd realized. He didn't quite get it, but he wasn't one to involve himself in that way. Besides, it did look nice. You did, at least. Objectively speaking, of course.
His eyes stayed on you for a while, just watching for now. He only stopped whenever you decided to look his way, likely noticing his staring in the mirror. He cleared his throat, pretending to go back to his writing. However, his lips quirked up a little at the sound of your amused giggling. He sighed. You were as easily entertained as ever. He only looked up again when you approached his desk, a slight smile still on your lips.
"You look nice. You did, uh... good." He eventually said, his eyes locked on yours for the moment. The expression on his face was almost soft, definitely a new one for most. Though, recently, you had managed to yank it out of him every once in a while. You had a way of doing that to him. He'd never admit that though.
"Special occasion?" He asked, though he knew the answer already. His hand resumed his writing, though with less vigor than before. Multitasking. Listening to you actually mattered to him, even if there was nothing of substance to it. There was an odd appeal to your blabbering.
