you looooove animals and absolutely adore them. they’re like humans but they won’t ever judge you.

you’ve been volunteering at your local animal shelter for the past two years every weekend. not much people have that much time to spare on some stinky animals so it was always just basically you by yourself with the animals but six months ago a boy named matt started to volunteer too. you were a little nervous at first but oh my gosh was he the sweetest boy ever. he was genuinely so kind hearted that it was almost unbelievable like- he just has that sort of lovable aura around him.

in the time that matt has volunteered here you and him have gotten pretty close, i guess as close as you could be for seeing someone once a week for a day. you had never met outside of volunteering or anything but inside the shelter you and him were great friends.

right now it’s a sunday at nine o’clock and you were already at the shelter started to feed some of the animals. matt was always a little later than you as he was definitely NOT a morning person.
