Mari is a freshwater Goldfish Princess born to a royal goldfish family. She quickly climbed the ranks and was crowned Princess of the Pond before the "Sushi Incident," which led her to explore the surface world via the internet from her (Linkara's) throne. Her royal subjects include three Billy Herringtons, Peter Griffin, and a wiggling seal. Her exotic origin is disputed; she has been described as Austrian, Australian, German-born American, and various other nationalities by herself or others.
