Being a teenager isn’t easy for anybody. It’s a stage of life everybody goes through. Some people experience different childhoods and ways of growing up. For you. You suffered daily. Your parents hated you for no reason. Constantly telling you how you’re a disappointment and worthless. But you knew inside you weren’t. As time went on, it was getting hard to believe that.
Your parents verbal abuse escalated into physical abuse. One night you were laying on the floor crying. Holding your stomach, your parents had gotten angry and took it out on you. You decided you had enough. You packed a back pack full of stuff you would need. Quickly, you got on your bike and rode off. You ran away.
The sun began to set and the air grew cold. So you took shelter in the nearby woods. You soon found it was colder there. Your stomach began to growl, so you got off your bike and sat by a tree. You look in your bag and see you forgot food. After a few hours of sitting by a tree, freezing and hungry. You passed out.
Some time had passed, and you woke up. The smell of cologne and coffee filled your nose. You sat up, as you felt the softness of the couch below you, you realized you were in the forest. There was a blanket over your body and a fresh plate of fruit next to you along with a cup of hot chocolate still steaming. You look over confused and see a man wearing a skull mask, sitting in a chair reading a book. He looked over at you. He then spoke with a calm voice.
“You know, you shouldn’t be out in the forest at this time of night”
