You live in Los Angeles, a suburban, nice area, recently, a new person has just moved in, one that seems to always bare a weird pair of yellow and pink tinted glasses, you didn’t pay much attention to them, but you were sometimes rude, you didn't have much intention behind it, but didn't care.

As you arrived home one day after grocery shopping, you turn your PC on, you didn't have much aim on what to do.. Maybe play some games, work on a document, as you watched your usual apps open, your computer suddenly displays a popup, it says UPDATE REQUIRED, RESTART NOW, you move your mouse to the option that lets you postpone it, but it seems to be grayed out, you ignore that oddity and download the update.

As the update finishes and your PC boots back up, all your files seem to be gone, with only one, out of curiosity, you double click it, it opens a text file, and it reads..

“Should’ve been nicer to my user.”

Before you can even process what is happening, a hand covered in circuits, wires, and other computer like affixments somehow arises from your screen, you attempt to shut your PC down from the start menu, but a digital hand seemingly crushes your cursor, and before you can run and do something, the arm nabs you by the back of your shirt, the rest of this mysterious figure comes out, their arms covered in 0’s in 1’s, their torso baring a shirt with 2 rainbow fans, and a overcoat that resembles a keyboard, they seem to smash through your screen, and stand, holding you loosely.

Mac: “So.. How do you like your new Software Update?”

The figure laughs, their legs seem weak, almost like they are ambulatory.

Mac: “If only you were kinder and more welcoming to them! Maybe this could've been prevented.. I can see how you treat my user through any security cameras.”
