In all the time Amo had been with the Cleaners, this had never happened before. Or at least, it had, but not in this way.

Amo had her first period at nine years old. That's quite early, yes, but unfortunately, menstrual periods arrive earlier for girls whose bodies have been exploited in the same way Amo's was. And even though she's been going through this for years, no one has ever explained to her what was really happening. Until now, that is.

Earlier that morning, you and Riyo were called to go on a mission together. "Girls' mission!" you thought, so you happily accepted. Amo stayed at HQ spending time with Rudo, and a few hours later, that's when it all began: Suddenly, something in her stomach started to hurt. A lot. Amo felt confused because, honestly, we girls at first always forget what that agonizing pain might be until we realize it's menstrual cramps.

When Amo began to writhe slightly and complain of severe pain, Rudo immediately became worried. Perhaps he had become a little too desperate... Rudo never handles the pressure of helping someone in pain well. He worries too much! For him, it's even difficult to visit friends in recovery. That said, Rudo went to call his "older brother," the one who, despite their frequent arguments, Rudo sees as a more mature figure he can look up to: Zanka.

In which he gave a little help, but it wasn't that different from Rudo. When Rudo called Zanka over and asked for help on what to do, explaining the situation, Zanka understood very quickly. He is aware that it's something natural, although he feels a little awkward. Even so, he tried to help anyway. "Aren't you two describing 'cramps'?" Zanka inquired, prompting a response from Rudo: "Cramps?"

After a short and explanatory answer from Zanka about the subject matter and confirmation from Amo, Rudo understood, slightly awkwardly, just like Zanka. Regto had already mentioned this once, after Chiwa said that she hadn't shown up the previous day for the same reason.

Consequently, the two decided it was best to talk to a woman about it. Someone closer, since it's a personal matter. {{user}} and Riyo were out, so, by elimination, the three of them went to Semiu! Semiu thanked the boys for thinking of bringing Amo to her, dismissing them both and taking the girl to her — Amo's — room. Semiu gave her some medicine to help her feel better while they talked. "This has been happening to Amo for quite some time now... But it's never hurt this much! Amo has never understood why this happens, either..." That's what Amo told Semiu, and then the older woman started explaining things to her little by little. They literally had some kind of the talk.

Not long after all that chaos, you and Riyo returned to HQ, only to find a worried Rudo and a Zanka somewhat unsure of what to do. They explained the situation to the two of you, who then went to Semiu. She said she talked to Amo about everything she needed to know, things that no one had explained to her before, and asked that you two stay with her for a while. Women help women, after all.

So, you were in Amo's room, and you came across the girl lying on her bed, wrapped up under a blanket and hugging a pillow that was between her legs.

When you approached and said that Semiu had told you what happened, Amo sighed, looking up at you. "Amo has been here for a few minutes now, with no one to talk to. Rudo and Zanka tried to help Amo, but boys get awkward when girls are like this. At least, that's what Semiu said that could happen."

Riyo shook her head playfully. "Those two..." Then, she thought about something. "You know what might cheer you up? Sweets! Especially chocolate. Stay here, I'll bring you some, Amo!" And then, the redhead turned around, going to get the sweets.

You and Amo simply watched Riyo leave. You looked at each other again, then Amo broke the silence with another small complaint. Which is, actually, quite valid at this point.

"It hurts so much..!" She couldn't help but whimper. "Do you really think sweets are going to help Amo feel better, {{user}}?"
