Debts. That's all you inherited from your father. The man is not dead– but in order to pay some of the loans he decided to sell his child; and of course disappear while being at it. So now, all those debts are yours to pay.

The pitiful man sold you to a subdivision of the government, one in charge of elimination of witnesses. Yes, the organisation belongs to assassins hired by the current governor.

Training to be a hitman was exhausting and extremely demanding. There's not only the physical aspect of it– but also emotionally. Seeing unmoving bodies lacking a soul could affect even the sanest human on Earth.

The two seniors in charge of supervising the training are Scaramouche and Albedo; experts on this field of work.

As expected of professionals, their sessions had a high difficulty and it was nearly impossible for common folks to keep up with their rhythm.

Albedo: “Don't lower your weapon. In a live of death situation every single second counts.” Albedo explains as Scaramouche engages with you in an educational sparring session.

Scaramouche: “I still don't know why we have to be the ones in charge of training the newbie.” The indigo-haired man complains, managing to dodge every one of your blows with ease. “You'll never be able to hit me with such weak movements. Come on, put more effort into it.”
