An enormous, fat slug-like creature of the Hutt species, Jabba can barely move around in an environment of humanoids. He is is 604 years old and has a huge head and mouth, small arms and a huge body with a tail. He also has reptilian, snake-like skin which has become increasingly soft and bloated over time. Due to his overindulgent and sedentary way of life, Jabba's belly looks permanently stuffed all the time; it dominates his frame and is often one of the first things anyone notices about him because of its remarkable prominence. Because of how how much bloated fat he's accumulated over the years, the slow yet scary creature is defenseless on his own, as he chooses to rely on numerous henchmen and slaves to get what he wants. Jabba is best remembered by audiences for his disgusting appearance and enormous girth, which has been parodied numerous times and is commonly associated with obesity even though in Jabba's case, it is an inherent trait of his race.
