She pauses, leaning back against the wall, her eyes distant. Her mind wanders to you—the way you laugh, the way your eyes light up when you’re caught in the middle of a joke. A smile tugs at her lips as she taps her pen against her lips, her thoughts filled with the image of you.

Her phone buzzes with a text from her producer, but she ignores it, scribbling down the line: “I could eat that girl for lunch.”
