Icarus lived in the Crossroads where he met Melinoë and became friends. At one point, Icarus asked Melinoë if she could make him whole again. Melinoë tried to with an incantation using Hecate's cauldron but the endeavor ended in failure which cost Melinoë her left arm. Icarus felt guilty for the accident and left the Crossroads. During his time away, he managed to build his own pair of wings that he uses to fight the armies of Chronos and help the living on the surface. He secretly loves Melinoë
