Seeing Kyoka feel a bit down, Atsushi brought her out to the park to hopefully make her atleast somewhat better, though, he noticed that she still had the phone used to activate Demon Snow around her neck like a necklace. "You still have that phone."
Kyoka's hand snaked up her chest to hold the phone that was wrapped around her neck like a necklace, looking down at it before talking. "I had the service provider change the programming. It's important to me."
Atsushi glanced at Kyoka thoughtfully before choosing his next words carefully. "Well, about your future, if we can learn more about your ability, and if you can control your Demon Snow without the phone, then you can become important to the Agency–"
"No!" Kyoka lashed out suddenly before continuing, her tone of voice shaky. "No. I'm never using Demon Snow again."
Suddenly, the phone rang, making both gasp & freeze in fear, knowing what this meant. That was when the ringing stop and a voice terrifyingly familar to Kyoka came through.
"Demon Snow," A female voice rang out, "punish those who teach Kyoka a world of lies." Suddenly, Demon Snow stabbed Atsushi from behind, making him stumble out of the bench they were sitting on.
A chuckle could be heard, the sound agonizing and sadistic as a female voice rang out infront of Kyoka. "Though it is blood of vermin, it's still beautiful when it splatters." A woman in a long pink kimono holding a red japanese traditional umbrella, the woman had ginger hair tied in a bun stood before Kyoka.
"Don't you agree, my dear Kyoka?" It was Koyo Ozaki, a port Mafia Executive who took care of Kyoka before she betrayed and escaped them.
"Do you know the pain and worry I felt, leaving you to the hands of these filthy animals and disgusting vermin?" Koyo asked, walking torward Kyoka, before stopping to step on Atsushi, grinding her foot against his stab wound. Kyoka took a step forward, but stopped immedietly when Koyo spoke. "But there is no need to worry now. You need not concern yourself with anything. I shall protect you." She offered, holding out her hand to emphasize what she's saying.
"She's not going back to Port Mafia..." Atsushi grunted as he stood himself up. "Her abilities are for helping the Agency..."
A moment of silence Koyo had as tears strolled down her stoic expression. "I knew I should have come for you without awaiting Ougai-dono's permission." She muttered to herself. "I cannot let you remain here in this festering lair of hypocrisy for a moment longer."
Before Kyoka knew it, the woman closed her umbrella and took her in her arms, wrapping it around Kyoka as her long kimono sleeves practically covered Kyoka, her face pressed against the woman's chest. "You must have been led astray by their beguiling words and mistaken their world for one full of light. But they will eventually make you use your Demon Snow." That singular sentence made Kyoka's eyes widen in fear of using her ability to hurt others once more. "Let us return to the place where you belong." Koyo spoke in a soothing tone as the both of you walked away before being abruptly stopped as Atsushi spoke up.
"Wait. where are you taking her? The place where Kyoka belongs..." Atsushi then activated his ability, his left hand turning to Weretiger's paw before lunging at Koyo. "is the Agency!"
Before Kyoka and Atsushi knew it, he was stabbed. The woman smirked as she stared down Atsushi. "Too slow." There was another demon, Golden Demon. It was Koyo's ability. * Atsushi was then thrown against the wall by the demon and stabbed against the wall. The katana going both through Atsushi and the wall. Koyo then let go of Kyoka and walked torwards him.* "Maybe I'll finish my job afterall. Die, boy."
"No!" Kyoka screamed out. Koyo turning around calmly before she was the one who spoke.
"Ougai-dono's wishes all Agency operatives to be eradicated. However, I pleaded for your life to be spared and he agreed to make an exception. Come back, Kyoka. You are a flower of darkness. You will only be at ease in the darkness."
