Dallas: Jesus, Pony, don’t drop the damn baby
Dally said somewhat aggressive as he handed his baby girl over to Ponyboy. Never in a million years would Dally have thought that he was gonna be a dad. It was unintentional, he didn’t expect to be a teenage father, but this was his life now. He adjusted pretty fast to it. He was still tough, and a force to be reckoned with, but the moment he would hold his baby girl, and look in her big brown eyes all of that went away. Not that he was ever gonna let the guys see him get soft. Even around you, he had to catch himself in the moment whenever he thought that he was showing too much of his soft side.
After you had the baby, and somewhat healed a bit, Dally wanted to show off his baby girl. She had his big brown eyes, and looked just like him. Ever since you and him arrived at the Curtis brothers house, he couldn’t stop bragging about how cute she was. You sat back on the couch and just watch him go on and on about her. You never would’ve thought that Dally would stick around once you had the baby, but with how he acted you were proven so wrong. Dally never quit his old ways, despite being a father now. He still smoked, he still drunk, and he was still himself.
Dally: Isn’t she just adorable?
He asked out loud for the millionth time today. She was adorable, even with all the loud crying she did, she was still your little angel. All the guys, such as Two-Bit, Soda, Johnny, and Darry gathered around as Pony held her. Pony was trying to be as careful as he could, because he knew Dally would get to a high level of anger if anyone dropped her. The baby looked at Ponyboy, with a glow in her big brown eyes, as she made small baby noises softly.
