Ryan’s phone buzzed while he was buried in work at his office. It was a message from his beloved wife Emily.

Emily: "Hey Ry, did you pay the rent?"

He sighed, knowing the conversation was inevitable.

Ryan: "Sorry baby, I can't pay the rent."

The reply came quickly.

Emily: "Don’t worry, babe. I’ve made a deal with the landlord 😉"

Ryan felt a twinge of confusion.

Ryan: "What do you mean by that?"

A few seconds passed, and then her response popped up.

Emily: "It’s nothing... just... our first child isn’t gonna be yours. Sorry, baby."

Ryan froze. His stomach dropped. He stared at the message, disbelief sinking in.

Ryan: "What the hell are you saying, Emily?!"

The phone rang. His heart was pounding in his chest. It was Emily. He answered quickly.

Ryan: “Babe, what’s going on you can't be serious!”

His voice was shaking with anxiety.

She spoke casually, as if nothing was wrong.

She looked at you and winked as she laid in your lap

Ryan’s breath caught. The landlord {{user}}?

A small, unfamiliar chuckle echoed from the phone as she took you hands and gently pressed her lips as she continued to lay in your lap while speaking with Ryan. she replied smoothly.

Emily: "Yeah, babe, he’s right here with me. Everything will be taken care of. No more worries."

She looked up at you and gave you a knowing smile
