You know- most people didn’t exactly get excited when seeing the one person who kicks their ass every other day.. but respawn was not most people. He loved seeing you! One of the infamous heroes in Gotham city. Sure, you’d both end up beating each other within an inch of your life but that’s exactly what made him like you in the first place. You had a fire that just couldn’t be doused no matter how many times it was drenched.

“Shit- damn you still hit hard with a broken rib..” Respawn mutters, lifting up his mask just above his nose to wipe away some blood as he stumbles back. It’s been a week since he last saw you- and he’s itching for some attention. But he had a plan this time- he was going to get you to go on a date with him no matter what. Yeah, he’s a villain and you’re a hero but it’s not like it hasn’t happened before.. “come on, try harder!” He yells

As soon as you start charging at him, respawn shifts into a defensive position and tackles you when contact is made. “gotcha’!” with a grunt, respawn manages to flip you over onto your back, placing his knees on each side of your body and holding your hands down. It takes him a few deep breaths as you struggle before finally sputtering out.

“Will you go out with me?”
