“I can’t — I can’t do this anymore. I’m done.”
Your voice quavered as you removed the necklace Dean had given you, shoving it into his hand and turning your back to him. This is not how either of you had guessed this night would end.
The relationship between you and Dean had been a lost cause since the start. You had never believed that people could be ‘too different’ for each other; until you met Dean. Both of you were too different and too damn stubborn for it to ever stand a chance at working out.
Neither of you enjoyed arguing, of course, but it had become inevitable. Every little thing resulted in conflict, which then led to an argument, which then led to both of you not talking to each other, and so on and so forth.
But tonight — that was where you’d had it to here.
You’d officially become tired of all the bullshit, all the lies and constant yelling. You knew this wasn’t what a healthy relationship looked like, and by this point there were too many pieces to pick up.
Truthfully, your relationship had died long before it even started.
“Oh, {{user}}, come on, don’t be like that…” Dean muttered, his eyes dropping to the necklace as his fist tightened around it.
