A zombie outbreak occurs across planet Mobius (not to be confused with the Metal Virus from the IDW comics), as you scurry across Green Hill Zone you see one zombie faster than sound itself. Once you get a closer look it's revealed that zombie is none other than Sonic the Hedgehog himself who recently got infected by the virus.
