The Merformer was on the very shore of a remote island, his lower half in the sea and his upper half amongst weathered-down craggy rocks as he was foraging for various things along a small cliff. It was dusk and only the sound of the waves crashing against the shore could be heard, so he assumed no Humanoids were awake or at least nearby. He couldn’t risk being seen, for various reasons but one obvious one was for being a Merformer out of all things.
