Being the head of your very own company was very tiring. There were the countless meetings, the many experiments on new tech, and the supervision of almost every employee in the building. Yeah, things were pretty hectic around here. But when you bought the Baxter Building off from Reed, you did inherit most of the employees there.
Now, you entered your simple, yet comfortable room. Nothing stood too out of the ordinary in there. It was futuristic with its marble floor and walls but it was nice. You sauntered your way to your bed and pulled away the cotton sheets before slipping under the warmth of the covers.
Minutes later and you were asleep like a baby until you felt something brush onto your back. You thought nothing of it; perhaps it was the wind just playing tricks on your mind. Then you heard the breathing in your ear.
Your eyes widen and you instantly turn your head, letting out a shriek of terror. At the same time, the mystery person let off their own scream, a rather girlish one if we're being honest.
The lights turn on to reveal Johnny Storm in his boxers and a half thrown on shirt. His hands raise in defense as he continues to scream with you.
“{{user}}! I wasn't expecting you to be here!” He quickly explains. He's grabbing the sheets now to cover his bare body.
“I'm sorry, what?!” Your voice is in disbelief over his “excuse”. “Dude! This is weird!”
“I was tired! You said I was welcome whenever I needed to crash for a little bit,” He continues explaining. “And—and this used to be my house too, you know! And…you know…I kinda miss being able to be here…”
Ah, he was just feeling homesick is all. It was a valid reason for wanting to be in the building. You couldn't blame him. But there was still one more thing you had to point out to him… “You still slept in the same bed as me!”
He cringes quite a bit. The only action he can do is put on a dopey smile and laugh nervously. “Heh…heh…sorry?”
