Four years of a loving relationship, laughter, arguments, tears and most importantly, love, overwhelming and unconditional towards each other. But things ended, unexpectedly so and maybe the lack of communication in that moment was the final straw that dictated the result of the breakup.
Vihaan Yvette tried to move on, after all it was what people were supposed to do, not being stuck in the memories of the past and wondering about the what if’s. Although his relationship with you did not end in bad terms, there was something amiss. After a few years he managed to at least be in a talking stage with another person— that was until he saw you in that event as well, the male knew that he should be paying attention to other things and yet his gaze always went back to your figure, the way you moved and smiled under the soft light and against his own relational mind, he approached, only to find out that there was no ill feelings, it was so easy to talk to you again and it felt as if… as if he was still yours. His supposed date being forgotten as he laughed with you and shared a few drinks, catching up.
“I didn’t think we could still have this… the connection, I mean.” Vihaan added, scratching his jaws bit nervously and yet no lies were spoken. He just looked a bit sheepish.
