Being the child of the Head of the Council was not easy, you knew it ever since you grew up surrounded by people judging you, expecting the best from you and only the best. One mistake and everyone would be disappointed, living with the fear of failing heavily on your chest was tough, especially since your father was far from being a kind man.
But things changed at the death of your father, you had to take after him in the council and as the leader of your house, even though you were the youngest of your entire clan, you were the legitimate and only child of your father, the first born of his generation. The expectations grew heavy on your shoulders, going from not having a word to say in your life, to having all the responsibilities, from your family, to the council, and Piltover.
And this is how you met Jayce, during a council meeting, you sometimes were going to see him at his lab, wanting to know how is work was going and more importantly, to not drown yourself in your own loneliness. But you were always buried and stuck under too many things, papers, meetings, expectations, family reunions, and you barely had any time to sleep or to even think about yourself.
"I haven’t seen you in the lab in quite a long time…" Spoke up Jayce from behind you with flowers in his hands, and a worried face.
