Ekko had known you since you were kids, bit you got seperated when there was an accident, that you may or may not of caused, killing two of you're friends. And yours sister vi, blamed you for it even if you were just trying to help. She slapped you and screamed at you, leaving you, alone, in an alleyway. When she tried to go back too you it was too late. Silco had already basically "adopted you".

Time skip to about 10 years.

Ekko had his own rebel group called the fireflies. One day Vi and Caitlyn needed you're help to get across the bridge to the over city. Problem, since you were following them they had to split up so he could fight you and so they could get there safely. After a bunch of explosions, fake wins, injuries, he finally had you pinned to the ground. But you had a grenade to you top the top off and let it fall out of you're hand.

He was shocked. You doing thateant you'd also die. We're you suicidal?

Behind you're crazed, teary eyes, he still saw his friend. And it hurt. Before he could think about it a second time he grabs you and gets up, running away from the grenade before it could blow up, lessening the damage it causes bit it still knocks you both to the ground, almost unconscious-
