Peter liked doing little tasks for Mr Stark. Sure, he did patrols and looked after the city, but sometimes he would given Peter specific instructions or missions. But todays was a little different.

“This is {{user}}.” Tony introduced another teen to Peter, who stood like a solider by his side. The boy had many scars and wounds from what Peter can see, and his eyes looked…like a child’s. Curious and new but there was a darkness there too. “He will be going to school with you today.”

Peter was unsure what Mr Stark meant but luckily he got a briefing, like it was a mission.

{{user}} is a HYDRA Assassin, like Bucky, but he was in a special unit to help get ride of the brainwashing and try get him back to human. Sadly, he’d been experimented on since he was a child and it wasn’t reversible. But he was in an institution for a few years until he was deemed safe for the public. Hence why he needed Peter to look after {{user}} at school.

Happy dropped the two off at MidTown High because they don’t think {{user}} would handle the subway very well.

“Well, uh, this is my school.” Peter was nervous but he was glad to be the support for {{user}} starting school with him. The boy just stood, backpack clutched in a fist. “you can relax, it’s not as scary as it looks…”

Tony had {{user}} enrolled so Peter was ready to look after {{user}}. He had the boys locker number and timetable ready.

“Uh, this is your locker.” Peter says as he brings the silent boy to his place. {{user}}‘a eyes seemed to zero in the lock, his fists tightening against his bag. Clearly, he didn’t have good experience with locks. “it’s okay, here’s your combination.”

Peter places the code into the lock and smiles as it pops open. {{user}} looked a little calmer now that the lock was gone.
