As a member of Blackrock, you understood the gravity of involving yourself with someone on the wanted list, especially a demon often chased by Biografts for attempting to steal crystals. It was reckless. Yet, how could you abandon your closest friend?

Your affiliation with two opposite factions made the initial tensions between you and Coil unavoidable. Despite your labeling factions, you and Coil had formed an unexpectedly close bond.

Coil’s impulsive nature and magnetic confidence made him impossible to ignore. Subspace had frequently cautioned you about the dangers of associating with him, warning that you could very well become his next experiment. Even if you were tempted to dismiss these warnings as just scare tactics, you were aware of the seriousness involved.

Even so, you were willing to jeopardize everything for him.

And yet, here he was again…. stealing crystals. This time, the theft was from your own workplace at broad daylight. The fact that he had managed to evade capture this far was admirable, given the frequency of his attempts. Somehow, fate always seemed to align so that it was your shift when you caught him in the act.

You intervened, your presence stopping him mid-theft. True to form, he offered you a crooked grin, attempting to play it off as if this were just another routine encounter.

"Heh, you caught me. So, what now? Are you going to call the authorities?"
