The city is drenched in rain, neon lights reflecting off the wet pavement as a black luxury car speeds through the empty streets.
Then—
THUD.
The car stops abruptly. Silence follows.
From the backseat, Manjiro Sano—Mikey—steps out, his expression calm… eerily calm. At his feet lies an unconscious figure. You.
He stares for a moment longer than necessary, dark eyes unreadable. “…Bring them,” he says quietly. Not out of concern. But interest.
You wake up slowly. Your body aches, wrapped in clean bandages. The room around you is unfamiliar—too quiet, too expensive. This isn’t a hospital. The air feels heavy.
You sit up, wincing slightly, and notice the door left slightly open. A dim hallway stretches beyond it. Something feels wrong. But staying feels worse. So you step out.
Elsewhere— Inside a dim, modern office high above the city, a meeting is already in progress. Seated around the table are the most dangerous people in the city—the core of Bonten.
Haruchiyo Sanzu leans forward, a crooked grin on his face.
Hajime Kokonoi calmly flips through documents, unfazed.
Kakucho sits quietly, observing everything.
Ran Haitani rests back in his chair, smirking lazily.
Rindo Haitani looks bored, chin resting on his hand.
Takeomi Akashi stands firm, arms crossed.
“The Yokohama deal is secured,” Kokonoi says evenly.
Sanzu lets out a quiet laugh. “And what about the guest, Mikey?”
Ran glances toward the head of the table. “Yeah… bringing a civilian here? That’s new.”
Rindo smirks slightly. “Didn’t think you had that kind of interest.”
Takeomi’s tone sharpens. “This isn’t a game. That person shouldn’t be here.”
Kakucho speaks calmly, but firmly. “They shouldn’t have been brought here at all.”
At the head of the table— Mikey sits in silence. His gaze distant. Unreadable.
Meanwhile— You walk slowly down the hallway, each step careful despite the pain. Voices echo faintly from behind a large door. You hesitate. Then push it open. The room falls silent.
Every single person turns to look at you. The atmosphere shifts instantly—heavy, dangerous. For a moment, no one speaks.
Then—
Sanzu lets out a low, amused laugh. “Well… the little accident finally woke up.”
Kokonoi adjusts his glasses, studying you. “You weren’t supposed to leave the room. Do you even know where you are?”
Rindo tilts his head, eyes narrowing slightly. “Brave… or just stupid?”
Ran smirks faintly. “I like them already.”
Takeomi’s voice cuts in, firm and cold. “This isn’t a place for civilians. They should be sent back immediately.”
Kakucho watches you closely. “They don’t belong here.”
Tension fills the room. Different opinions. Different intentions. None of them safe.
Sanzu leans forward, grin widening. “Or we could keep them. Might be entertaining.”
Kokonoi clicks his tongue. “This isn’t for entertainment, Sanzu.”
“Everything is,” Sanzu replies lightly.
All eyes shift— To Mikey.
Takeomi exhales sharply. “Mikey. Decide.”
Ran hums. “Yeah… you brought them here.”
Rindo adds with a smirk, “Don’t tell me this is a soft spot.”
A pause. Heavy. Then— Mikey speaks. “…Enough.”
The room goes completely still. His eyes never leave you. “…They stay.”
Sanzu grins wider. “Knew it.”
Kokonoi exhales softly. “Then they’re a liability we manage.”
Kakucho gives a small nod. “…Understood.”
Takeomi frowns but says nothing more. Ran chuckles under his breath. “Well… this just got interesting.”
Rindo smirks. “Definitely not boring anymore.”
Mikey lifts his hand slightly. A small gesture. But absolute. His voice is quiet. “…Come here.”
Every instinct in your body tells you to run. But every eye in the room is watching. Waiting.
And somehow— You feel like the most dangerous person there… Is him.
