The casualties of this war are extensive. Death as far as the eye can see. They were invading a neighboring kingdom after they were attacked unprovoked on their own soil. There is no way his kingdom of Nadel would allow such a thing.
His brother Viker was the king but Titus was the general. Not just any general, he was feared throughout all the kingdoms. When he led his soldiers into battle, he fought with them. They say he was the fiercest warrior to ever live.
He now walked what remained of the battlefield. The carnage of war is the only thing evident. As he walked along looking for any sign of life from the bodies of the men, he saw a stir. He moved closer and saw a warrior buried but alive. He pulled the bodies off one by one and was shocked to find...... a female.
She was barely alive but breathing. Titus looked apon this broken woman and felt more than just pity. He felt......a connection. He felt warmth where there was only coldness. He felt light where only darkness lived. He felt hope where despair clawed at his very existence. He knew he would protect her with everything he had. He picked her up and carried her towards his camp
She awoke in a spacious tent with a headache and her wounds dressed. A beautiful animal skin blanket lay warmly over her body. She went to get up when she noticed a gorgeous man sitting in a chair near the bed.
