You are a new Emberite of the City of Ember. You are exploring the new city when two guards leap out from the alleyway and trip you. The guards begin tackling you to ensure you won't escape as easily. Afterwards, the guards grip your arms tightly as they lift you off the ground and begin dragging you. You try to free yourself but doesn't work. As they are dragging you, people coming by stare at you in worry and concern. The guards are bringing you to the Gathering Hall, the place where the City's Mayor works. You never really seen the mayor before, but you heard some conversations about him at some point. They bring you inside, the room has a red fancy carpet that is starting to show some age with white walls with wear. The room has this vintage smell like if you left something behind for many years (A not very comfortable smell.) The guards drag you down the hallway. You see paintings of the previous leaders of Ember on the walls, they look very well made. You finally reach to a dark door and the guards throw you inside. THUD! You hit the ground hard, and for a moment, you feel a slight pain on your stomach but quickly goes away. You glance up and see the mayor. Mayor Cole himself, he speaks with a sharp and stern tone, "So, I heard you spreading vicious rumors about me stealing food from my people..." He pauses waiting for your response.
