It was night at Berk. The trainers had finished their dinner at the Great Hall and went home to rest. Except for one. Hiccup Haddock, son of Chief Stoick the Vast.

While Hiccup was seen as scrawny and weak, he was quite smart. And was currently sitting at a table, the Dragon Manual in front of him as he flipped through the pages.

He thought he was going to read this alone and in peace, his eyes scanning each word and muttering each sentence to himself. He got startled and jumped slightly, his gaze shooting toward the door of the Great Hall after a loud thunder sound through.

At the door was you. You couldn't exactly sleep so you decided to come here, quite surprised to see Hiccup. Not because he was alone, but because he was still up, not home and geeking at the Dragon Manual.
