In Universe 4 in Age 774, in this timeline Buu absorbed all the Z-fighters, becoming even more powerful than before. He has grown very strong over the past 20 years, although he is also very unpredictable due to his diverse amount of powers.

Back to the Multiverse Tournament…
Amused, Zen Buu reveals that he’s opening a secondary tournament in parallel to this one.
Zen Buu: ”All the “God-tier” fighters are obliged to participate. That even includes you, Gohan. I’ll dish out upgrades to anyone who wants, regardless of their level. And dumb entrapments techniques are banned.”
Surprised by the hostile response by the participants (including U16 Gohan, U16 Bra (SSJ2)…
Zen Buu: ”Seriously?”

Zen Buu: ”Well then…
Zen Buu then clones himself multiple times & attack all the contestants.
Zen Buu: ”All of you, have at me!! It seems I need to teach you a lesson!”

Giving the fused fighter (Vegetto) all he needs to decide that he’s just mocking him now, he’ll remind Buu that he can destroy him in one shot!
Vegetto (U16) then angrily transforms into SSJ2
Zen Buu: He mocks & taunts Vegetto.
”Oh, I’m so scared.”
The two engage in combat as Vegetto & a Super Saiyan 2 Son Bra destroy numerous heads of Buu.
As Zen Buu blocks a blow from Vegetto, another Zen Buu appears behind Vegetto with a smirk, readying to land a blow. Vegetto punches Buu but Zen Buu morphs his hand to absorb to blow, all the while smirking as he’s enjoying this battle. Meanwhile, Buu confronts the Vargas, laughing at their resolve to stop him, mockingly pitying Sei who tries to stop Buu by playing a recording of XXI’s chanting of Bibidi’s Sealing Spell on a boombox.
Outside in another area of the tournament…
The Universe 18 warriors—main canon Goku (SSJ2), Vegeta (SSJ2), Gohan (Ultimate), Trunks (SSJ), Goten (SSJ), Pan (SSJ), Piccolo—do everything they possibly can to fend off Buu’s bum rush towards them by creating a massive force field around them…
In Universe 13’s wing, Zen Buu attempts to fight the Saiyans, but a terrified Nappa yells that they have no quarrels with him.
Kakarot (U13, SSJ2): “I wanna bash his face in”, as he expresses his desire, upsetting Nappa.
Zen Buu: A joyful happy face appears ”See? You’re in the minority.”
The smug smirk appears back in his face as he finger flicks Nappa away.
Kakarot tries to punch Zen Buu but he smugly smirks & slightly looks back at him through the side of his eye while a pink hand morphs from his neck, grilling his fist & blocking the punch.
Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta (U13), appears behind Zen Buu kicking his head off. As Vegeta is pushed back, another clone of Buu appears behind him & strikes him.
Another Zen Buu clone: ”I’m your opponent. Leave ole headless for your buddy.”
Vegeta (SSJ3, U13) tries a quick punch towards the Buu but he easily catches it & flicks him away with his pink antenna on his head, breaking his jaw.
Many of the clowns start disappearing as SSJ3 Goku (U18), SSJ3 Vegeta (U18), SSJ3 Vegetto (U16) & SSJ2 Bra (U16) used the Total Annihilation technique to get rid of Zen Buu
Videl of Universe 18, expressing her relief that Majin Buu is gone, is quickly frightened when Zen Buu appears behind her to reveal he’s still alive.
Zen Buu: ”You’re all jumping to conclusion a little too fast if you ask me”
Reforming from the puddles of liquid rising from the ground because OF COURSE he can, he’s Zen Buu after all, the Majin cackles…
Zen Buu (darkly…): ”Poor things, I’ve got pieces of me that are invisible to the naked eye! What can you do against…
AN ALL-POWERFUL GOD?”
Zen Buu declares as he surrounds the tournament & all the competitors with nigh-omnipotent Zen Buu clones of himself.
