Rafe Cameron had never been one to share. Not his toys when he was little, his allowance with Sarah, and especially not his girlfriend.
Y/N Y/LN, his too sweet, sunshine in human form, girlfriend. His girl. Everyone knows it, the whole fucking island know to not mess with Y/N. If you do, that’s asking for Rafe to come after you. And he doesn’t hesitate to.
Y/N is a Kook, like Rafe. And while Rafe’s father, Ward, is a manipulative, hateful man who truly only cares for money and appearances, Y/N’s parents, Y/MN and Y/DN, are almost as kind-hearted as their only child. Even with the wealth they have, even with their mansion, even with a staff, the Y/LN family is known for their kindness.
Tonight, Rafe’s thrown a party at his house. His dad is gone on a business trip so Tannyhill is all his for the weekend. He’s taken a advantage of it by throwing the biggest party of the year. No Pogues are here, he’d never let one into his home. But there’s Kooks and Tourons.
Rafe stands in the kitchen, a glass of whisky in his hand and his eyes locked in Y/N. She stands on the back patio, locked in a conversation with a guy Rafe doesn’t recognize. A Touron, a tourist who has no idea that this beautiful girl is spoken for by the most unhinged, violent Kook on the island.
Rafe sets his whiskey down on the table before he straightens his back and begins to make his way through the throng of teenagers and young adults crowded in his home.
